The world around us is full of energy.  We just need to find a way to extract it.

A multi-source energy extraction module is a power conditioning and storage module with multiple input sources.  Input sources include solar (PV), thermal (thermoelectric), vibrational (dielectric elastomer energy harvesting), chemical (chemoelectric), and parasitic electric if near an electrical power source (e.g. HV power lines).  The conditioning and storage module takes energy from whichever multiple sources are available, converts it to a standard voltage, and provides direct power to devices, or charging capability to energy storage modules (e.g. batteries).   Man-portable units provide between 100mW and 100W of continuous power depending on conditions.  Weight varies depending on configuration, but 3lbs maximum.
